I am up this morning painting sea urchins. Lots of pretty ones. All colors......with a tiny sprinkling of Diamond Dust....sooooooooo pretty. I have several different projects planned for these but you must wait to see :)
Here's the Are You Kidding Me Part of this post.....
The Commander is in the kitchen cooking up a storm. We had to scoot out yesterday to pick up a few extra things for his baking today. I popped in the store while he waited in the Mini Hearse with Harlow. He said while I was in the store a lady got out of her vehicle, yanked a kid out of the back seat, put the kid on a port-a-potty and then dumped the contents of the potty right out in the parking lot....wee, poo, toilet paper and all. Oh man....and I thought I was messed up. What is wrong with people? There were at least 2 bathrooms right there close to the parking lot. *shaking my head*
I picked up this new nail polish yesterday too. It's not too pretty to most people but I love it. It's an odd color....kind of like a grayish putty. It's by Essie and called Chinchilly. Kinda reminds me of dead things. Go figure.
Just a quickie....don't bother buying Laura Mercier's Long Lash Mascara. It's the worst ever in my book. I had received a deluxe sample of this in my VIB pack from Sephora and it was terrible. It was dry, didn't go on well and within just a few minutes it was flaking off horribly. I had flecks of this crap all under my eyes. At $24.00 a tube I am NOT wasting my money on this. I am all for trying something new but this went directly in file 13. Meh.
Today I am painting in my pj's, watching movies and working on my February piece for SpookyTime Jingles. The smells coming from the kitchen are heavenly. I don't know what the Commander is cooking and baking but I am thinking I am going to have to wander in there soon.

Painting in my pjs too. No cooking going on though. Going to nephew's in a while for our Christmas dinner.
My favorite long lash mascara is xxl extensions from Maybelline. It's a two step method and I love it.
That's an interesting nail color. My favorite is a metallic green called Dragon Scales. Some off brand but it's so cool.

Thanks for the heads up on the mascara...I hate it when mascara does that and for $24 a tube you expect more. I like Laura Mercier products so I'm surprised by that. But hey, not everyone can do everything well.
Your story about the port a potty turned my stomach (then again, if it doesn't turn EVERYONE'S stomach there is something even MORE seriously wrong...lol!!). I often shake my head at how some people have been raised...and hopefully that child will NOT grow up thinking this is "normal".

WTF/H...crappy idiots anyway! Hey, I like the polish too, seems it would make your nails kinda blend in with your foot..like youdidn't have toenails..mwahaha:) Guess you could say the flaky crap could have gone home with the porta potty toter..blah! Can't wait to see what you do with the urchins, the ones you've painted, not the one sitting on a potty in a parking lot. Double yucky today for sure. The poop mama and the mascara... might be a third poopy too... that nail polish. Nah!!! But you can wear it LuLu. For sure.
Now get in that kitchen and give The Commander a bum squeeze ...they like that while they cook. I'm going to the kitchen now too... not to cook. Oh it's only 5 paces away, lol.

Unbelievable. And people wonder why folks in retail are cranky - the stuff they put up with out of thoughtless creeps. Love the nail color and Laura M is hit and miss. The sea urchins are gorgeous as is - can't wait to see what they become. Gotta love a man who bakes!

The potty incident is too much. I don't get how that is okay! I mean, HELLO ... there are laws about picking up after your dog. Leaving your kid's mess behind is even worse!
I keep trying new mascaras and so far I have not found a one that I really like. The original Maybelline -- pink with green lid, is the best if you ask me, yet can't find it around here half the time. There's all this new and approved mascara on the market but it is all overpriced crap to me.

Ah, the Christmas tradition of painting sea urchins. ;) I cannot believe the story about the potty in the parking lot! I can't even think of what to say about that. I question a lot of people's sanity any time I'm out in public, but that takes the cake.
