My trip to Los Angeles has been re booked and I am all set to go in a few weeks. That is ONLY if I behave. The Commander said he's not fooling around with me hopping about and getting back to my frivolity any sooner than what the Doc said I could soooooooooo looks like I have no choice.
I got to talk to all my Cali girls on Skype tonight so that was major fun. Even though I missed the party there will be more fun to be had in a few weeks when I will be headed their way. Thank you tiny little Baby Jesus that Southwest does not charge for re booking flights. I pink puffy heart Southwest.
In that I am grounded for a bit more during my recovery from that nasty appendectomy, I have been reduced to things of this nature......

They can watch it all they like now but then? Not a chance...Me? I've never watched it -- I just don't get it. But if that's as much mischief as you're getting up to -- then I think you're doing quite well!!

I know what you mean,LuLu. Years ago I had my left ovary out and within two days I was back to running errands. I even had the experience of running out of gas on the highway (husband apparently didn't realize I would be out and about and forgot to fill the tank) and had to take care of that! Thought all this was normal until other women (having the same operation) said they couldn't move about for about six weeks! Whaaaaa???? We're just hardy, though terribly feminine, women, missy!!!
I totally understand and can sympathize, LuLu! But I am with the Dr. and the Commander ~ you may think you are ready to get up and go, but you do need to rest and recuperate properly. Are there any projects you can work on while in bed? Maybe set up a tray and do some jewelry pieces? I'm sure you'll be making up for all this down time soon!

Please, please...be good! I had the same surgery. Didn't feel good a few days later. Everybody advised me that the best thing I could do was get up and get moving around- do for a walk....except that I had a subcutaneous bruise from the laproscopy (some people's body doesn't like being turned into a beachball with gas but they don't tell you that beforehand) which I made worse and let me tell you it was 4 weeks before I felt better. It was sooo painful and awful. DO WHAT YOUR DOC SAYS!!!
so...only hurts when you laugh! Man, Lulu, you look good in every shade of hair color!!! I can only imagine how you relax, take it easy, because you do want to go to California! Be a good girl, now!

Lol we are so alike! My Husband gets so annoyed when he hears me lmao as I look at all the blunt cards. The Christmas ones are a hoot! Also, the kids and I have the Mr.Hanky song memorized and my son calls his #2 Mr.Hanky- all year round..tee,hee! Ok too much info. Anywho, rest up 'cause you don't want to avoid future travels. I only wish we could afford to go somewhere hot right now.

Ah LuLu honey so sorry that you still have three weeks to go but girlfriend you can do it. I know as active as you are it makes it even harder but you have the commander and I have a feeling he will keep you resting as you need to be.
