Shoving a Kleenex Up My Nose

I am sitting in my bed with a Kleenex shoved up one side of my nose. I will spare you the photo though. However....I did include the photo above of a piece I just finished yesterday. Every piece on this design was created with all vintage elements...right down to the clasp (which I forgot to photo). I am not sure what it is but I seem to do my best work when I am sick as a dog.

A sore throat and fever has now turned into a full blown bad cold.  The kind that you have to walk around with a Kleenex shoved up your nostrils. The kind where your eyes are red as the devil, watering and basically feel like they are going to pop right out of your head. Meh.

Too bad I don't have an audition today for a horror movie.

I would totally nail it.

Love,
LuLu~*xoxo

Oh no! Lots of rest, and TLC for you which I'm sure will be very happily provided. Get well soon. Amazing piece! What else is new?!

Poor baby! How the heck did you catch a cold when you've been in so much? Doesn't make sense and I'm sorry. I love your necklace -- you know how I feel about 100% vintage, too! If it's not TMI, I've had a nosebleed every day for about six weeks now...so I relate to the sitting around with Kleenex shoved up your nose! Try some Throat Coat tea if you haven't already.

If anyone can pull off that "look", with flare, you can! In fact, the masses will probably be emptying the shelves of tissues, so that they too can mimic Madame Lulu, The Trendsetter!

The necklace is awesome! I can picture it on SO many different necklines. Tres Elegant!

Wishing you a speedy recovery! You'll still look gorgeous, even without the tissue embellishment and red enhanced eyes!

Healing Hugs!

So pretty LuLu! And I'm sure you still look lovely, even dripping snot and with a kleenex stuffed up one nostril ;)
I had the same thing twice last month. May I recommend:
Bountiful doses of Nyquil
A constantly running humidifier
Twice daily use of the netti pot or as I call it the "ol' snot-pot"
And hot toddies all day long!
Feel better soon!

What a beautiful necklace! I've been sick for the past several days. Not a fun way to ring in the New Year! You're the fourth of my blog friends to get sick this week. I'm starting to feel like I've passed my cold to you guys through the computer. :) I actually tried a Neti Pot for the first time a few days ago, and had some pretty good results with that. So you might want to give that a shot for your nose!

Well if that's what you create when you are sick... what happens when you are wide eyed and bushy tail?? kind of like a dog.
No yacking is good news.
Blue sky but only 28 today. I was going to go out, but I've changed my mind. I'm too darn cozy here.
I hope you have Scottie's up your nose, cuz they are super soft ; )
Love you
Love me

Oh Honey!! Get the sick out of the way before you have to travel! Once it passes, you'll have a good six weeks before another sneaks in!

Laurie- buy a humidifier. hubby was having that exact same issue, and the humidified solved it.

Lulu- good lord. we are even sick together, girlfriend. i think in addition to sharing a brain, we might share an immune system.

Oh, sorry to hear that you're unwell again. You've had a bad run lately. At least you've got the silver lining of a little uber-creativity - your necklace is stunning!

Your illness hasn't quelled your spirit for making beautiful things!
I hope your nose and self are feeling back up to par in no time, mine too!
Get well soon, sweet girl!

I had one a month or so ago...just miserable. I do hope it passes fast so we don't have to take you to that audition. ♥

First of all, love the new necklace. Now, about Kleenex shoved up your nose - do you suppose you could start a fad? Because then we could cash in with designer nose-plugs! We'd need a catchy name. Something that would appeal to cold sufferers and trendies. I'll work on it. Feel better!!!! xox
